Rockstar Energy is all about championing the hustle. So when Super Bowl LVI hit its hometown of LA, we wanted to champion locals in a meaningful way. Street food vendors in the city face increasingly strict city codes, regulations and prohibitive fees making it almost impossible for them to operate legally.
In partnership with non-profit Revolution Carts, we provided LA street food vendors with brand new, fully-licensed carts, designed by some of LA’s most renowned street artists.
On the Thursday before the "Big Game", we held a Rockstar Mercado Event in Inglewood, with installations, performances and fire tamales from all the vendors, who received custom kits with personalized aprons and other Rockstar essentials.
